Georgina Twumasi is a dedicated psychiatric nurse practitioner (APRN) with a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and board certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health (PMHNP). With private practice locations in Manchester and Bristol, CT, Georgina is committed to providing compassionate, comprehensive mental health care to her community.

With over 10 years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, Georgina has worked with a wide range of patients from various backgrounds, including different ethnicities, cultures, sexual orientations, ages, spiritualities, and beliefs. Her extensive experience enables her to provide culturally competent care tailored to each individual's unique needs.

In her practice, Georgina utilizes a holistic approach that integrates the mind, body, and soul. She combines psychotropic medication management with evidence-based therapeutic modalities to address each patient’s mental health needs. Georgina is also passionate about supporting women who have experienced trauma. As a co-founder of the "4 Women Foundation Inc," a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping abused and battered women, she actively works to provide resources, advocacy, and support to those in need.
